Vacuum evaporator with internal scraper (CVD-CVDHW series)
Vacuum evaporators with internal scraper are used for purifying highly concentrated solutions containing: suspensions, oils, organic compounds, salts and dissolved metals.
As in the case of EV series distillation process takes place in low temperature vacuum, but in this case a working chamber is equipped with internal scraper for mixing the solution in order to ensure an even heat exchange. Thanks to the scrapers's system high concentration rates are possible to reach and in some cases even a semi-solid waste.
CVD series evaporators are powered by heat pump, while CVDHW series are powered by hot water (or steam) and cold water.
In both series CVD and CVDHW the boiler is situated horizontally and equipped with an external heating jacket through which liquid heat source passes.
Inside the boiler there is a scraper system with brushes that keep the heating surface clean, ensuring an even heat exchange. The boiler has got also a side inspection door for process control and for cleaning of the inside of the working bowl. Low temperature vacuum in the distillation process is generated by a closed circuit with integrated venturi ejector.
