Process of degreasing of the surface affects directly the whole range of surface finishing types (painting, metalisation, phosphatising, etc.). Below you can find products for quick and accurate testing of the surface tension of the parts during the processes of cleaning and degreasing.
In order to determine the level of surface tension, the parts are randomly tested by checking grease level. This method is based on the measuring of the surface tension, which means measuring surface energy of the material by checking contact angles with test inks. The values are expressed in mN/m (miliNewton per meter). For example oiled surface oscilates around 25 mN/m and washed surfaces are in the range from 38 mN/m up to 70mN/m - depending on the cleaning effectiveness. Testing is peformed by applying test inks with defined value (in mN/m) on the surface. The bottle with brush or test pen filled with the testing ink can be used. If test ink spreads, the surface tension of the applied ink is lower than that of the surface. If the stroke remains unchanged during the observation period, the value of the surface tension has been reached exactly or is slightly higher.
We can offer set of test inks in the form of test pens and bottles (10, 100 and 250 ml) in the range from 18 to 72 mN/m.
