6. Short description of the project: The purpose of the project is to implement a program aimed at eliminating health risk factors in the workplace including training activities. The project will cover Beneficiary’s employees, who were willing to participate in the program and for whom the analysis has demonstrated such a need. The project will allow for the adaptation of workplaces and will reduce factors that may cause work-related health problems in employees. Employees will also receive training to reduce exposure to negative heaths factors at work and learn how work to minimize their exposure. The program will positively impact both employee well-being and their overall health. Employees workplaces will be equipped with ergonomic equipment, and employees will receive appropriate training. The program will be implemented for the three months at the Beneficiary’s location.
7. Assumed goals, main benefits: The project is aimed at minimizing or eliminating health risk factors at workplace by equipping the workplaces with more ergonomic equipment and by conducting ergonomics training. All employees participating in the project are exposed to health problems resulting from particular difficulties at the workplace, as detailed in the analysis (e.g. working in a position that causes pain or fatigue, repetitive hand or arm movements, carrying and lifting awkward and/or heavy objects, working with a display screen, etc.). Risk factors identified during the analysis will be reduced by equipping the workplaces with ergonomic equipment and thanks to the training provided, the employees will be able to implement preventive measures against health risk factors themselves.
